Luz is a proficient and dynamic strategic mind and leader. With her extensive and diverse repertoire of career experiences in a multiple of roles, as a bilingual, bicultural educator, Luz has championed critical pedagogy and equity in education at the local, state and, International level. She draws on 20-plus years of leadership experience to serve as a pedologyist and consultant at Eleva. She has served as an executive leader in strategic planning, strategic business development, marketing, business intelligence, start-up project management, and innovation. She has personally administered significant aid in helping organizations successfully manage and support change through strategic planning and tactical direction. As an author She is known for the successful practices implementation for effectively driving organizational change. She brings an unparalleled of passion, energy, and dedication to serving others as an inspired advocate for children, promoting long-term adoption and cultural integration through leadership alignment and intricate change strategies. And if that is not enough, she has co-authored The Visionary Director.
Karina is a zealous leader and effective communicator; she is able to understand where you are coming from and guide your thought process. She is passionate about creating sustainable change to better serve children. With her vast experience with organization development, she believes that organizations thrive when their employees/teachers do. With her background in Early childhood education, higher education and non-profit organizations, Karina will help you move from practical practices to a holistic understanding of what is needed in your environment. She relishes on opportunities to collaborate with educators to design innovative and creative solutions to complex challenges. Karina holds a Masters in ECE with a focus in Adult Child Interactions, Children with differing abilities and the Reggio Emilia approach. Karina is an intricate part of Eleva for her calm and pragmatic approach, her expertise lie in program development (private, federal, state, city funding), dual language, reflective practices, proficient in administrative practices and implementing new curriculum models.
Javier is a resourceful, and high-energy professional with over 10 years’ experience in running, organization development, and supervision. He is also storyteller with experience in strategic planning. He has been working with children in variety of different settings since 2006. His career has seen him master and implement positive practices at every level in the ECE field. As a Master and Mentor Teacher Javier has extensive experience in developing curriculum, positive teacher-child interactions and content specialist. He has a broad range of experience from supporting small- and large-scale transformation practices, with efforts to better support the children. Javier holds a Masters in Early Child education, with a minor in Community Organizing from Goddard College. He has an unyielding passion for working with teacher to better support children, with simple and engaging creative solutions. He believes in the power of language and storytelling to build community and inspire creativity and promote community. Javier has gained vast experience from his time traveling the world, allowing his experiences into different cultures, He has worked internally with teachers, externally with those just starting in this field. Javier brings passion and innovation to Eleva as pedagogy and reflective practitioner.
